We are very excited to introduce you to our new Teaching Pastor, Greg Price.
Greg and his wife Cindy have lived and served locally for over 30 years.
His ministry vision is one of strong cultural relevance while maintaining Biblical integrity. He strongly believes in the sovereignty of God and in the mission of the Church.
We are thrilled to have Greg join us as we seek to grow the body of Christ in this region and around the world.
Come worship…just as you are. Sunday mornings in Fayerweather Hall on the campus of Maryville College. Join us at 10 am for community time followed by music, teaching, and coming before God as your real and honest self!
“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.” John 4:24 MSG
Family Time at Springbrook Pool, Sun, August 11, 6-8 p.m.
Come Sunday evening, Aug 11, for worship and swim time. Pizza and drinks provided by the church. Families are requested to bring a dessert that you can eat with your fingers!

THERE WILL BE NO MORNING WORSHIP ON AUGUST 11
The Summer Of Love is almost over, so if you missed any sermons this summer while traveling, be sure to check out the sermons/podcast page to hear what you missed. We’ve had a great summer of guest teachers in worship, each of them bringing a unique take on what it takes to truly love one another.
Join us as we examine what is means to be a church that seeks to “Love Well”. This summer we are challenging ourselves to really live out that principle in all areas of our lives.
We have some great guest teachers lined up so make sure you don’t miss out!
Our worship service is available online if you are out of town.
1st Sundays – Ekklesia marks the first Sunday of every month by collecting non-perishable food items for the Community Food Connection.
Need a Ministry? How about serving by either leading or helping prepare for our children’s ministry? See Kim Antonio. How about helping with building attendants during worship? See Bob Bradshaw. Want to help with food for community time? See Bonnie Etchison. Other gifts and interests? Talk to Dan, Kim, or Kelly.
Small Is Big at Ekklesia – Some churches are churches with small groups: they have lots of programs, Bible studies, etc and small groups are just one offering of what they have in a “cafeteria” style approach. Ekklesia is a church of small groups. That is, small groups are a part of the DNA of who we are, indispensable to our vision of loving well while remaining, biblical, relational, and simple. We have groups meeting at various times through the week. Our goal is for everyone in Ekklesia to be part of this vital component of who we are as a biblical, relational, and simple church. If you’re ready, or just have questions, email John or sign the small group sheet in the lobby on Sunday morning.
Everyone who needs a place is invited.
Our desire is to love and to love well. Jesus puts it this way in John 13:34-35:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Join us as we seek to live our lives in community with one another in a way that honors and glorifies God.
