Ministry Of Inviting

Do you have a friend who needs a place? The season leading up to Easter is a time when people of faith and people not yet come to faith are seeking answers to spiritual questions. Our worship at Ekklesia will be an honest searching for real answers to practical matters of life and faith. Who in your relational circle needs a place like that? Cards with service times are available for you to give to friends.

Community Food Connection

Community Food Connection is a local ministry which provides food for families needing assistance. On the 1st Sunday of each month we collect non-perishable food items in support of this ministry.

Children’s Ministry

Kids’ Church: All school-aged kids are invited to Kids’ Church during the second half of the worship service on the second and fourth Sundays of every month. Kids’ Church meets on the second floor of the building.

Ekklesia youth are an integral part of our church family, and we want to equip them to minister to others – not only their peers, but to those both older and younger than them. The youth at Ekklesia actively participate in the ministries of the church, offering their gifts in such areas as technology and music. They participate in our outreach efforts, and they even help our adult volunteers teach our preschool children.

Preschool Ministry

Babies and Toddlers: Childcare is provided during the worship service for babies and toddlers from birth to two years. Our childcare volunteers would welcome the opportunity to provide secure and nurturing care for your infant or toddler while you attend the worship service. Childcare for babies and toddlers is provided on the second floor of the building.

Ages 3-Kindergarten: Children ages 3 through Kindergarten are invited to attend our preschooler’s worship time during the worship service.

Preschool children are at a perfect age to begin to learn basic Bible truths — that God made them, that God is everywhere, that God loves and cares for them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend for always! Each week we learn about exciting Bible stories through various hands-on activities that involve movement, crafts, games and play. Our goal is to help our preschoolers connect these fundamental truths to their own lives in very concrete ways.

We also desire that preschoolers in our care experience early on that our faith is relational. We want our children to feel that they belong to a small group family – safe, comfortable, loved and accepted in their group of peers. We strive to model the relational aspect of our faith with our preschoolers in a small group setting.

We provide snacks each week of animal crackers, goldfish, or Cheerios, and water or apple juice. If your child has food allergies of which we should be aware, please let us know!
We invite your preschooler to join us every Sunday upstairs on the second floor for a great time of worship, learning and play!
